Co-founder of the International Forum for Genetic Engineering (Ifgene) in 1993 and its coordinator until 2003. Editor of 'Elements of Natural Science' since 1993, and on the board of the Swiss Working Group on Genetic Engineering (SAG) since 2012 and collaborator at Zukunft säen! Three children.
