Hans Hasler was born in 1942 in Graubünden, Switzerland. He studied Slavic philology, history and education and worked as a teacher. His encounter with anthroposophy led him to the Goetheanum and to curative education. In 1992 he took over the management of the building administration of the Goetheanum and thus its concrete renovation as well as the renovation of the Great Hall. Hans Hasler lives in Finland with his wife Päivi Lappalainen. The legacy of Sergei Prokofieff brings him to Dornach again and again.
